James Melendez
General Manager
James is the Operations Manager for Bobsled Construction. He oversees all aspects of construction projects from pre-construction to final building turnover. James is a graduate of the Engineering program from the University of Manitoba, a Gold Seal Project Manager, and has a Certificate of Management in Lean Construction. With over 15 years of construction experience, James is adept in areas including interior renovations, multi-tenant mid-rise buildings, institutional developments and ag-industrial projects. Also active in the community, James has served as the Founding Chair of the Young Construction Leaders of Manitoba (YCLM), has been a board member of the Winnipeg Construction Association (WCA), and serves on the board for River West Park Kids Daycare Center.
